How to prepare for a holistic wellness session

A holistic wellness session is built on connection and communication, an exchange of giving and receiving between practitioner and client. It focuses on you as a whole being, treating the mind, body, soul, and spirit as one interconnected system.

Whether we are meeting for a psychic reading, energy healing, or a mindfulness session, the more present and open you are, the more we can connect and exchange, and the more you'll receive from it.

Red dirt trail lined wiht trees in Arizona that leads through desert brush toward towering red rock cliffs under a cloudy blue sky.

Here are a few recommendations to help you settle in and make the most of our time together.

Before we begin

  • Give yourself time to land: Try not to rush straight from something stressful. Even a few moments of quiet—whether that’s taking a few slow breaths, walking to another room, or stepping outside—will help you ground and center. It makes a real difference in the quality of our connection and communication from the start.

  • Silence your device: Set your phone to off or silent (not vibrate) so we can remain fully focused.

  • Keep notes handy: You may want to write down thoughts and insights as we go.

  • Dress comfortably: Wear something loose enough to support circulation, breathing, and relaxation.

Online or in person

  • If we're meeting at your location: Find a quiet, comfortable spot where we won't be interrupted, and let those around you know you'll be in session so you can stay focused and relaxed.

  • If we're meeting at the Center for the New Age: Plan to arrive a few minutes early so you're not rushing, and give yourself a moment to settle in before we begin.

  • If we're meeting on Zoom: Find a quiet spot and make sure your connection is stable, so the session goes smoothly for both of us.

One last thought

I work from the sacred land of Sedona, and the energy of this place, along with my own, is part of what you're tuning into. When you welcome this time as precious, you honor yourself in the process, and that openness is part of the work.

I look forward to connecting with you.
